Need Teens to Work Recital

Do any of you have older siblings or friends who might like to have some responsibility during our show?  We need a few reliable teens (experience with young children a plus!) to help with backstage and/or in-the-auditorium jobs.

Please email Ms. Ann at

Registration for Summer Classes has Started!

Ms. Ann will be teaching three weekly classes this summer, on Tuesday afternoon/evenings.

Preschool Combo classes are offered at 3:45 for ages 3-4, and at 4:45 for ages 4 – 5.  And then we offer a Ballet/Tap I class for ages 5 and up at 6:00.

Because the schedule is so limited, these classes fill up quickly!  Register now.

This is a fine way to continue a dancer’s education over summer.  And it’s also a wonderful way for those new to our program to try dance for several weeks before committing to the school year, so tell your friends!

Recital is May 19. Attendance is Very Important.

Our recital is only  weeks away.  Attendance in class at this time is very important.  I want to encourage everyone to attend regularly.

Recital will be held the morning of May 19 at Connally High School.  Dress rehearsal will start at about 8:00 for some of us, and continue until about 11:00.  Then there is a half hour or so break with the curtains closed – a great time to see if your dancer needs to use the restroom.

Then our show begins at 11:30, has a 10 minute intermission, and will be done about 12:45.  Then, if your family is anything like mine, it’s time for a celebratory lunch at a favorite restaurant.

Again, everyone please attend class regularly so our dancers feel well-prepared for recital.

Summer Camp Registration at Spring Pfling Sat March 24

Registration for our summer camps starts Saturday March 24 at Spring Pfling, noon to 3pm at the Pflugerville Recreation Center.  Our camps fill up fast, register in person to assure you get the camp you want.

No Class Monday Feb 19

Just a quick reminder that the rec center is closed on Monday Feb 19 for Presidents Day, and we don’t have dance class.  Monday classes, remember that we have a make-up on Saturday March 10, and we DO have Monday classes the week of spring break.

Will There Be Dance Class Tomorrow? How to Tell.

It’s a lovely day right now, but Central Texas is expecting a winter storm on Tuesday.  Will we have dance class?  Here’s how to tell.

We generally follow Pflugerville ISD.  If Pflugerville schools get a snow day, we do too, (with rare exceptions).  If they start late, so does dance.

If we do cancel class because of bad weather, we will schedule a make-up class later in the year, probably on a Saturday afternoon.

So, keep an eye on the Pflugerville ISD website:

Dance Classes Start Monday January 8

I hope everyone is having a wonderful New Year!

Just a quick reminder.  In general, our dance classes follow the Pflugerville ISD school year calendar, with a few exceptions.  Monday Jan 8 is one of those exceptions.  The school has a student holiday, but we’re going to go ahead and start dance classes.

If your dancer has missed any, I encourage make-up classes.  Pick a class that is the same age/level or slightly younger, and just show up!

Other important dates for the winter and spring:

Monday January 15, no class for MLK day

Monday Feb 19, no class for Presidents day

March 12 – 16,  no class for Spring Break

I look forward to seeing you all soon!

Ms. Ann
