Ms. Ann

Ms. Ann’s exposure and expertise in a wide variety of dance genres began at the early age of two, learning hula while living in Hawai’i. She added traditional western forms of dance to her repertoire (ballet, tap and jazz) after returning to Texas. She discovered Middle Eastern Dance as an adult, and began performing and teaching professionally.

Ms. Ann has been teaching children’s dance in the Austin area since 1998. She also enjoys helping young people find expression through jump rope, theater, music and art. She is well-known for her creative, fun, and educational preschool and early elementary classes. (Watch out! She might show up for class dressed as a pirate, cowboy, or even a clown!)

Ms. Ann believes in treating all students, regardless of age or experience, with respect, dignity, and lots of patience.
