Important: Possible change to rehearsal date!

Greetings, dance families! Thank you for taking the time to read about this proposed change to the rehearsal date.

We’ve had a large number of dancers inform us that they will be unable to attend rehearsal on the evening of Thursday, May 16. In addition, we were recently informed that Connally’s auditorium is now available on Friday evening (May 17, the date we had originally tried to book for rehearsal).

We are considering switching the rehearsal for recital to the evening of Friday, May 17 (instead of Thursday, May 16). This will not only accommodate the large number of people who have Thursday preschool graduation, but will also allow our dancers to have their rehearsal closer to the time of the performance.

Please let us know as soon as possible if your dancer(s) is UNABLE to attend rehearsal on the evening of Friday, May 17.

Thanks for your understanding as we try to accommodate the greatest possible number of dancers.

Ms. Ann offers Short Session Dance Class – Tell Your Friends!

Do you know someone that might want to try our dance classes at the Pflugerville Recreation Center?  We have a 7 week short session that starts tomorrow, Wednesday at 9:45 for ages 3 to 5.

The sessions this fall are Sept 12 to Oct 24, and Oct 31 to Dec 19, each just $69 for seven weeks.  And yes, students can join late – the front desk will simply prorate the price.

There are 4 short sessions over the course of the year, and the class plans are the same as the regular classes, which means that the students in that take all 4 sessions get the same quality dance education they would receive in the school-year session.

This is perfect for those who aren’t sure if their child will like the dance class experience, or don’t want to pay for the whole school year at once.  It also makes a great gift!  With no registration fee, this is a perfect introduction to the world of dance.

Please tell your friends about this great way to try our affordable dance classes.

Recital is May 19. Attendance is Very Important.

Our recital is only  weeks away.  Attendance in class at this time is very important.  I want to encourage everyone to attend regularly.

Recital will be held the morning of May 19 at Connally High School.  Dress rehearsal will start at about 8:00 for some of us, and continue until about 11:00.  Then there is a half hour or so break with the curtains closed – a great time to see if your dancer needs to use the restroom.

Then our show begins at 11:30, has a 10 minute intermission, and will be done about 12:45.  Then, if your family is anything like mine, it’s time for a celebratory lunch at a favorite restaurant.

Again, everyone please attend class regularly so our dancers feel well-prepared for recital.
